Dear Chris,
My absolute favourite clarinet & percussion piece is Alexina
Louie's "Cadenzas", recorded by Beverly Johnston and James Campbell (who
teaches at Indiana). It's a wonderful piece in 4 movements; all are
challenging, but I had a 4th year student perform it last year, on a
percussion performance major's graduation recital. It's available from
the Canadian Music Centre in Toronto, for some ridiculously low price.
