I know this may not even be considerable, but I have some music by Hovhaness
called Firdausi ( op 252). It's for Clar, percussion and Harp, though. A teacher
gave it
to me when he was cleaning out his 'archives'. The percussion that is required
is kind of impossible for most everyone : Darbukka , Laotian drum-gongs,
Chinese drums, etc
Ok so it's not possible for everyone to perform this piece :-), I have yet to
meet a percussionist with this equipment. But it does sound like a cool piece.
