Ates,

I have worked closely with Jorge Calandrelli in a transcription of his
Concerto for Jazz Clarinet from Orchestra medium to wind ensemble. The
transcription works beautifully, and Jorge is quite happy with the results.
Unfortunately, this work is available for rental only from Theodore Presser,
and they are keeping the whole thing a secret. If you would like a copy of
the clarient part, I can send it to you for shipping and copy costs.

I don't know about Circle Dance, but I know you can get the clarinet part for
the Solfegietto from an Etude book call _Passage Studies_ by Frederick (?)
Thurston. The original is actually a harpsichord piece by C.P.E. Bach. I
saw the score for the Metamorphosis, and there really isn't much to see in
the clarinet part since Eddie improvised it spontaneously.

I have talked with Jorge about making a piano reduction of the Concerto
available with the clarinet part. He finished the piano reduction about two
years ago, but it is in his hand manuscript. He has a very clean hand, but
for publishing purposes it needs to be engraved. I have offered this as a
service, and he has shown interest, but he seems to be too busy to deal with
it yet.

Send me your address, and I'll send you approximate cost for S&H.
