Claudia,

Why not contact one of our great music conservatories, CIM (the Cleveland
Institute of Music)? My son (a timpanist) and his fiancee (a violist)
both graduated from CIM in 1995. While students there, they bought taught
private lessons in the area. Perhaps there is a clarinet major who would
be a perfect teacher for your mother. If not, perhaps someone there can
suggest a teacher.

CIM is located on East Boulevard at University Circle. The main telephone
number (typically answered by a student) is +1(216)791-5000.
