Roger Shilcock asks "Doesn't the Greenline pose a threat to wrists because
of its significantly greater weight?"
At the Buffet factory tour, we were told that the Greenlines average
about 5% heavier than the standard R13s. However, there is some
variation in the weight of all the models (presumably wood R13s
vary more than Greenlines), so a heavy wood R13 could weigh more
than a light or average Greenline.
On an unrelated note, a number of months ago I asked for suggestions
for teachers in Cleveland for my mother, an adult beginner, and got
no responses. She found a teacher through a music store but is now
looking for another one (her current teacher doesn't seem to have a
lot of enthusiasm for teaching and doesn't have the breadth of teaching
experience to help her with the things she's struggling with). Does
anyone have any contacts in the Cleveland area who could help her?
Thanks,
Claudia
