When I was in high school/college, we had a dog who would howl
whenever I played the clarinet. We used to say she was singing, because
her tail would wag furiously the whole time. Sax didn't get any response
at all! She was a house dog, and when she would "escape" from the house,
the only way I could get her home was to stand on the front porch and play
the opening to "Rhapsody in Blue". Sure enough, she'd come running!
