I haven't tried playing a clarinet CD to the dog (this is assuming any
clarinetist on a CD is vastly better than I am, which is true). I'll try it.
A couple of years ago my son was learning the trumpet and the dog howled the
whole time he practised. After a while he began to do the same thing to a
Wynton Marsalis CD, although the CD hadn't bothered him before my son took
up the trumpet.
