While in Japan last week I bought myself an interesting Yamaha reed trimmer.
I've never seen one before (not that I've looked), and I needed something to
trim my reeds, and it was cheap so I bought it. Only problem - the
instructions are in Japanese, and there aren't enough pictures to be able to
understand what I'm supposed to do with it.
It's made of two pieces of plastic, and comes with two small pieces of very
fine sandpaper which are like stickers. It appears (from the pictures) that
I have to stick the sandpaper to one of the pieces of plastic which is
curved up at the end, then put the reed in the other flat bit of plastic,
and pass the sand paper over the reed. Has anybody used one of these before,
or does anyone know ho0w to use one? What is it actually supposed to do?
Thanks in advance
Linda
