Merlyn Kidder asked about James Pyne. I have played on one of his
mouthpieces for four years now and cannot say enough about them. They
were recommended to me in college and I know several professionals that
play them. His things are now sold through "The Woodwind" catalog.
There is a gut in Detroit Mich. who custom makes mouthpieces and some of
his resemble Pynes. He will also work with via phone and design
something that suits you. He then sends some for you to try and you go
