Tracy asked about trios for flute, clarinet, and oboe.
Here is one I found in a music library:
AUTHOR: De Lorenzo, Leonardo, 1875-1962.
TITLE: [Trio romantico] * Trio romantico : flute, oboe, clarinet, op. 78 /
Leonardo de Lorenzo.
IMPRINT: New York : C. F. Peters, [c1960]
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: score (20 p.) and 3 parts. ; 30 cm.
SERIES: His New compositions in the modern idiom
NOTES: Pl. no.: Edition Peters 6273.
De Lorenzo taught flute at Eastman, sometime prior to Joseph Mariano. I
haven't heard the work as a trio, but have played over some of the parts. It
seems generally impressionistic, with a lot of whole tone scale passages.
