Hi,
I want to thank everyone who gave me suggestion about the science
and music colleges. The help was much appreciated! Some of the
colleges sound very interesting and I will be looking into them
further.
Has anyone ever heard of James Pyne? He makes and sells his own
line of clarinet accessories and I wanted to know what you all
thought of his barrels. I'm looking into buying one for myself. I
tried one out at music camp and it sounded really nice. I believe it
was normal taper, but the new inverted or reverse(not sure which)
bore I have no frame of reference for.
Also, I was looking for a new mouthpiece, but I'm not sure what
one to buy. At music camp they told us about this guy who custom
makes them just for you, but he is located about 5 hours away from me.
I was wondering if anyone knew of someone else who does this and is
located within a couple hours of Dutchess County in New York.
Thanks again for all the help!!!
