Thanks for your somewhat reassuring comments. I wasn't certain if my
proposition was heretical or not! Now I can say with authority, "Ah, but
they do it that way in Richmond!".

I think the worst case scenario would be sitting idly by at the end of
the row (where all the audience can watch you yawn!) for about an hour,
then having to come in almost immediately on that solo! At least if
you're already playing, it helps!
