Merlyn-

Ithaca College (Ithaca, NY) has an excellent music program. The music minor
program is very nice. There are only about 500 students in the school of
music, so there are lots of oppurtunities to perform.

The minor requirments are completed w/in 2 years.

Ithaca also just recently (1993-4) built a brand new science building in
addition to renovating the old one.

Yes, if you haven't figured it out yet, I did attend school there. My major
was music education (1994). So, I am a little biased.

One of my close friends from Ithaca was a music minor(clarinet) who majored
in chemistry.

The town of Ithaca is beautiful! Lots of neat shops and restraunts. There
are also many beautiful state parks right in the immediate vacinity. (I even
know where to go to pick reed rush.....) Ithaca is approx. 4 hours from NYC.

So that's my two cents.

If you have any further questions, feel free to e-mail me.
