Tracy,
A book entitled 18 Trios From the Classic Masters for Fl,.Ob. ,Cl. Arr. by A.
Andraud, Published by Southern Music B-178 is very good. I would use it for
Undergrad students. In general the pieces are eaiser then the Arnold.
Another good piece is the Michael Kibbe Trio/ Shawnee Press Publ. It is listed
in the Dorn Clarinet catalog under mixed trios. 800-527-6647. The Kibbe is
more modern like the Arnold. Also, I'll give you a few more names. These are
from the Dorn Catalog- I can't speak for the works.
G. Holst- Terzetto
M. Kaderavek- Fantasia
H. Lazarof- Trio
Lehmann -Tractus
S. Olsen- Suite
Uber- Suite
Richard Wilson- Gnomics

(Let me know if any are good.)

Subject: trios for flute, clarinet, and oboe

Here at Coe College, I am in a chamber winds ensemble that consists of
a flutist,an oboist, and me, a clarinetist. We have been told that we
should start thinking about trying to find some gigs to play at. The
problem is that we are having a hard time finding good trios for what it
seems like is a rare combination. The only one that we could find that
we liked was Malcom Arnold's Divertimento. I was wondering if any of
you knew of any good pieces. Thanks.....
