I'm thinking of starting my own ligature museum. I have the following
ligatures:
Bonade inverted
Sumner
Bay silver
Giokas string/plastic
Gigliotti
Luyben
Harrison silver
Rovner light and original
BG super revalation
Vandoren black inverted
old Selmer metal (looks like an accordian that slides over reed/mp)
some cheap black inverted plastic thing

That's all I can think of now. What am I using? A piece of thick chord
(thicker than a shoe lace) that I wrap around six times. I've really liked
the sound and as long as my reeds are articulating it works - if I need a
crispier articulation I'll use a Bay. So what's everyone else's ligature
museum like?
