Steve,
Just out of curiosity, how much for the Rosewood contra? Unless it
has some magical qualities (I tried to tell my wife this about some beans I
traded the family cow for - but she didn't believe me) or it has wheels and
I can drive it to work, I'm afraid that I couldn't buy it right now - but
if I could start getting some contra Eb gigs?! Maybe I could convince some
of my conductors about how much money the orchestra would save by replacing
the whole bass section with me on Eb contra!!
