Cassie,
Get "The Art of The Clarinet" by Keith Stein. Publisher is Summy Birchard. It
is very comprehensive in terms of how to play the clarinet properly. For fun,
well that depends on what you call fun. I had fun playing the Klose book.(are
we talkin classical, or jazz?)
Also David Pino has a book on clarinet out that is very good.(I can't recall
the title)

Subject: Any suggestions??

Hello fellow clarinetists,

I am an amateur at playing the clarinet. I play in my high school's marching
band, and am striving to perfect my sound. Are there any suggestion's that
someone may offer in order to cease the constent squeaking that occurs with
the higher notes... C,D, etc.?
I appreicate it. Also, are there any good thick books for clarinet playing
that are fun to flip through while practicing?
Thanks a lot everyone!
Cassie
