Well, maybe you are right about plastic clarinets. But, nevertheless,
I think I made my point.I've never actually played this clarinet, but
about a year ago or so, I was with a friend at Charles Bay's house,
and he showed me a plastic clarinet that he had designed and
manufactured. According to him, it played as in tune as any
top-of-the-line instrument, and the bore and key work were beyond
anything ever seen in a plastic clarinet before. He was selling it for
around $800. I didn't really see the market for it, but I kept my
mouth shut. Anyway, I've never heard about the instrument since.
