I believe I've read that Ralph Morgan recommends these.
Does anyone play them, and have observations about breaking
them in, selecting a strength, or about longevity? I am
beginning to use them without much success: very stiff. And that's 3.5.

Ultimately, I feel foolish going through my usual procedure
of voicing reeds: I paid the extra cost for the extra care in vamp
shaping (reputedly done with "diamond cuters" or something).
Perhaps I should shift down a strength. My impression is not
many players use these reeds. ------Bill Fogle.
