Norman Schweikert, hornist with the Chicago Symphony, has been working on
just such a project for many years now. I am not sure whether anything is
published or otherwise available to the public, but if you were to write him,
care of the CSO, I am sure he would respond with the correct answers. BTW,
his work may or may not be limited to wind players.
