Today I finished updating my home page, where I added some information
about the International Clarinet Association in a somewhat more organized
fashion. Included in the new info is the following:

1.) A link to a part of Michele Gingras's page with info about
the 1997 Composition Competition.

2.) A link to information about a call for Papers and
Presentations for ClarinetFest '97 in Lubbock, Texas.

3.) A link to the University of Maryland Libraries, home of the
ICA Research Collection. Also an e-mail contact to the new liaison for
the Research Collection. There is also a telnet search available for the
UMD Libraries on their Web page.

As I receive new information about contests, etc. (High School Contest,
for instance), I will add them to my home page and notify the list. The
President of ICA, Alan Stanek, is at work supervising the construction of
and "official" ICA Home Page, which will "soon" be available. I look
forward to being obsolete!! Until then, keep those cards and letters
coming, folks!

The e-mail I like most is the one requesting ICA membership information.
