It took me a while to get used to them, coming off of Van Dorens, but
I moved into them gradually and am pleased. The feeling I get is that
they are of a coarser fiber than other reeds (perhaps more care is
taken shaping them?) -- they are very strong in the lower register but
supple enough for a pleasing altissimo. I'm a little lazy with reeds,
so I was happy that of the four I've tried, three are useable.
