In my previous post on this subject, I forgot to mention that my doctor
(who ultimately refered my to Physical therapy) was all set to give me a
shot of cortisone and send me home to rest. Mercifully, she was open to
the PT suggestion.

She still asks (several years after the events) about my arm, and
comments on the "amazing" progress from my treatment!
