Jeroen,
(Since my e-mail utility does not show return adresses, I had to post this
to all.)
I told Ransom Wilson you said hi. He told me that that was the world
premiere of that Puccini arrangement. The festival was great. I played the
Brahms Trio in recital, and they are giong to make a compact disk of it. The
final concert was a Clarinetist's dream ( or nightmare) we played the
Bartered Bride ov. ,Fetes from nocturnes , Mendelssohn Scherzo, .,2nd half -
Tchk. Violin Concerto with the Violin teacher from Yale, Brahms Academic
Festival Ov., and a Symphony (1st Mvt) by the Julliard theory teacher Ken
Lampl, and ending with Korsakov Capriccio Espagnol. I felt like I was hit
by a truck after the concert as it was 100 degrees on stage (the air was
broken) and I was already "sweating". Too bad I didn't loose any weight from it.
I nailed all of the solos!
