Ok Gary, I will try to explain it .
As i am not playing Sax very often, I know a lot of people playing
it. Since there is no German-Saxophon fingering, they all play french
system, mostly SuperAction (i thinks its the name?) from Selmer.
In Jazz, all Germans play Boehm too, thats because they have to play
Flute, Clarinet and Saxophon in the Band (same Fingering)
Also the classical pieces for Saxophon i.e.Bolero are played on
French Saxes.
To put it in a nutshell, there is no difference.
