There's a cheapo recording of it for $4.99 yep, US dollars, Naxos. Regardless
of it's low price, it is a wonderful recording, though to save time they
eliminated all the repeats except for the first one. They can be found at
Tower Records if you have one around your hometown. Or if you can't find one
buy an expensive one or email me again and I'll help you get it. Yeppo, I'm a
HS student. I would say that this piece is a little harder than his two
concertos and his concertino. It's an amazing piece requiring fast tonguing
and technical stuff. The cool thing is that it sounds way harder than it
really is. It's awfully easy for the strings. All they got are eighth notes
and some melody in between. The whole piece offers everything a clarinetist
wants to show off about, the high notes and the wonderful chalumeau notes. I
think the highest note is G3. Requires plenty of technical practice. But,
believe me if you perform this piece and you don't get a standing ovation
(spelled it wrong?) I'll give you my head and my beloved B45 TwoTone mp.

I was in the Manhattan Boro-wide Band, and I just performed at Carnegie Hall
in May.
Hope you know what Carnegie Hall is, it's where Tchaivoksky (Damn, I can't
spell!) performed on his first US tour, it's where 1812 overture was first
heard by Americans.
I'm going to audition for the All-city HS band this coming school year. I'm
in New York City.

Musically y'all,

ps I'm also putting together a beneficial concert scheduled during the school
year where all proceeds go to the purchase of plastic cruelty-free
"dissectable" models to replace the corpses of the tortured animals. Not much
info is available right now. I will call for help when everything is planned
and ready.
pss Oh and please wait for my lawyer's letter. Or as Kathie Lee said, "For
now, miss (originally mister) you better pick up your phone, 'cause my
lawyer's calling you right now. How dare you! HOW DARE YOU!" And quote!

logy is suppose to teach respect for life, but dissection teaches us that
aniaml life is cheap and expendable.
