Hi all! Well Regarding Weber's Intro........... Many sent email to me
directly or to the list saying that all they found was the reduction for
piano and of course the clarinetto. I have the complete version. It cost me
$36 bucks. I'm looking forward to perform it, as soon as I have a chance.
It's actually a piece for a clarinet and Stringquartet. (Was someone looking
for a Clarinet quartet or something? This should be great!) My version's
directly from Germany copyrighted by "Bote & Bock, Berlin Wiesdaden." I live
in New York City, it took me like 2 weeks to find this piece. Funny thing is
this piece is not available in the big music stores (Carl Fischer, and
Julliard). I found it at "Frank Music Company." (212) 582-1999. Regarding
the composer of this piece, ummm. All the info I got was that it was more
recently published than his other clarinet works and it was attributed to
Weber. Someone said it's Huffner (Why does this guy's name sound so
familiar!?!) Well I think it really does have something to do with Weber.
Best guess is either he worked on it with some one, unfinished and then
finished by some one, or some one who is especially found of Weber's clarinet
music style. It really does sound like a work of Weber. The similar eighth
notes in the Allegretto movement of Op. 26 and the Allegretto movement of
Intro........... Well, if any one got more info email me dirrectly or even
better share it with everyone on the list. It's also published as a piano
reduction version by International Music company and some one sad Schrimer's
have fun hunting for it!

Musically yours,
