Maureen,
My former teacher wrote a piece for and dedicated to Benny Goodman called
"Three Pieces" for solo clarinet. The composer is Gene Saucier and the work
is available through Opus 1 publishing.
These pieces are unaccompanied and tend to be a bit on the difficult side.
Howeer, they are playable.
Another piece that is a delight to work on as well as perform, is a work by
Morton Gould called Benny's Gig. It is 8 duos for clarinet and string bass.
I used an electric bass and it worked fine. I hope that this helps!
