I recently picked up a fine book at the ICA Paris conference entitled
"The Clarinet Revealed" by Ernest Ferron. Ferron's book, in a good
English translation, deals with many aspects of clarinet design, repair,
tools, mouthpieces, and reed adjustment. The publisher is International
