A number of the posts that I'm reading on the subject seem to imply (not
all, some have mentioned using both) that a strap and a peg are usually
*not* used in conjunction. I've tried playing w/ astrap and not a peg; it
does help for the high notes (I'll do anything for help on the high
notes) but the instrument keep slapping against my legs and hitting
keys.. What I do (usually.. I still feel like I'm constantly searching
for something better) usually now is play w/ a strap and a peg but angle
the instrument such that the pegs is almost under the chair... Best of
both worlds? Boy would it have been nice if someone in the ensemble
actually had played bass clarinet. :)

As to the double eyes. and double hooked straps; does anyone know where
to get them? That second hol must be there for a reason.. and it's much
to low to use by itself...
