Dan,
The 2nd eye on the bass is for a two hook neckstrap. I've seen a
colleague with one but don't know where you would get one. Using a peg
with a bass clarinet is a necessity with a low c model just because of the
weight. In addition to the peg, I find that a neckstrap will not let the
bass slip from my hands while I'm playing a throat F or G.
By the way, has anyone played a Bay bass? I'm interested in
sometimes getting one for outside concerts since it's based on a plastic
Bundy body.
