Weber: Introduction, Theme and Variations Opus Posthumus
ALL clarinet players should have heard of that one! My edition was
published by International Music Company and is for clarinet and piano, but
I'm pretty sure its also available for clarinet and strings. I have a CD
recording of it (cl/pno version) on "Die Virtuose Klarinette in der
Promenadenmusik", ITM 950029. I also have a cassette recording of it with
strings, indicating that it WAS recorded that way in the past. It is a very
beautiful piece.
