My copy of the Opperman book is dated 1956 and was published by Chappell
Music Company, 609 fifth avenue, New York, NY 10017. There is a number on
the back, but I am not sure if it is an ISBN number- it is 0015388-316. I
searched AMAZON.COM (a HUGE bookseller) and didn't find the book though.
You might also try Baker and Taylor books (1-800-775-1200). They are very
nice to work with and seem to know of every book that EVER existed, even if
it is out of print. BTW, the Opperman "book" is only 40 pages long, but it
does outline the reed making procedure quite well, and with lots of pics.
Good luck.
