I have found that neckstraps are annoying. For sax, that's one thing. For
bass clarinet, ok, maybe. But for normal soprano clarinet? Give me a break.
One of the people in my section at Olympic Heights High School INSISTS on
practicing with a neckstrap. So I tried hers oneday, and I found it to be
completely annoying. I do not see the point of it, except to have more
"accessories" to put in your music bag.
