Ian,
>From Tara Publications' online catalogue ( http://www.jewishmusic.com/):
"J. Kammen Folio #9 (for clarinet): The only two remaining softcover
volumes of the original Klezmer and International Dance series. The "Bible"
of this musical genre during the first half of the 20th century. Music:
Jewish, Hebrew, Hungarian, Romanian, Italian, Polish, Russian, American,
Czechoslovak, Gypsy etc. Horas, Shers, Doinas, Freilachs, Waltzes, Czardas
and more.
Catalog # KZ-KMN-91B Price: $14.95 "
I don't have the clarinet book: my father had the piano book (I
think the original edition!), and I have some "fake book" (i.e.,
photocopied) violin/mandolin selections from this book.. This book does
NOT contain THE "Clarinet Polka" that this thread started with, but it DOES
contain several polkas that can give you a workout (as well as the
frailachs and czardas, etc.!).
