If you buy an expensive trimmer, some of them will work well and some
others won't. If you buy an inexpensive one, the same is true. So, the
best way to buy a trimmer is to take a few old reeds into the music
store, wet them in your mouth, test the trimmers they have available,
and buy the cheapest one which works well for you. The trimmer is one
product I would definitely try to avoid buying by mail order.
