I play on an LC1. I confess I didn't pick it out of any knowledge. When I
bought my Buffet it also seemed time to get a mouthpiece of comprble
quality. I just played on a handful of them (I knew, and basically still
know, virtually nothing about the difference between them) and picked the
one I felt played best. I figured I must have picked well... as it turns
out it was the most expensive of the bunch. :) (but after you've just
shelled out for a Bufet, albeit an elderely, used one, who cares how much
the mouthpiece costs)

Not to beat the dying horse about mouthpiece nomenclature, what is the
difference bet. the LC1 and LC3?
