Try a Altieri ( Denver, Co.) Case Cover- They have straps like a backpack that

you can wear on your back. I really like mine. I would avoid soft cases. You
will always be paranoid that you might bend a key.

I often have to carry my clarinet great distances during the day. Tired of
lugging my monstrous double hard case around, I am considering buying a soft
case.

Any suggestions?
Horror stories about ruined instruments? =)
