This reminds me of the old joke:

Q-- How many clarinetists does it take to sight read a piece of music?
A-- Two: one to play the clarinet and the other to move the index card!

I've never understood that joke until today! Thanks!

Seriously, though, that sounds like an interesting method! I'll bet
it wouldn't be too hard to put together computer software that would scroll
through a piece two meaures (or so) at a time. Then you could vary the
speed as you improve!
