Next week Lucy & I begin our long journey to Vladivostok (to teach
Composition/literature for the University of Maryland), so here's my
official goodbye: "Goodbye."

As many folks have noted before, this is a singularly distinguished list,
well-mannered, interesting and helpful. Thanks to all of you for the
interesting discussions of the past year or so. Thanks especially to
Lisa K. Canjura-Clayton, whose "continually futzed-over" home page led
me to the list.

Big klarinet regret: No more Eastern Leeson Roadblock Society
Favorite Recurring Klarinet Question: "What are flavored reeds?"
Favorite Klarinet-member Obsession: "What do you mean by 'dark' sound?"

Thanks again, all. Perhaps I'll rejoin you as your only member in the
Russian Far East, but until then I'm switching to balalaika.
