Julianne,
Yes indeed it is a G. Consider getting The Artistic Studies Book 1 (from the
French School) by David Hite Published by Southern Music. It has all of the
Rose Etudes (40,32, and 9 Caprices) and many tempo, expression markings that
are CORRECT. Any Music store can get it for you or call Southern at
800-284-5443. I don't work for Southern nor Hite, but I am very impressed with
his editions.

Subject: Rose Etude
I am working on the etude #23 in the Rose 32 studies. I am curious about
a possible misprint in my edition. In the 7th line 1st measure, the 22nd
measure of the etude, is the last note in the measure a G
natural(written) or should it be an F natural. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks in advance.
