Usually the best place to look when seeking a specific clarinet recording is
Richard Gilbert's book A Clarinetist's Discography III, published in
1991. Two earlier editions appeared in 1972 and 1975. The author
includes short biographies of major clarinet players and a list of record
publishers with addresses. The introduction states: "This publication
combines both of the earlier volumes plus all new material since 1975 and
is intended to be a complete LP and CD listing of solo clarinet
recordings plus a comprehensive listing of 78's."
