It wasn't considered trivial by me! I learned a little something about
Italian/musical terminology that I might have otherwise missed, and I'm
still curious about why and how this text change was made. Is your
edition Peters? Do we know whether Osborne made this change, or an
editor, or is it truly an error from the publisher (Errtext!?!?) - it
seems odd that they would re-set the type without a good reason.
Otherwise, they'd re-use the old plates.

Any way, thanks for the question. There are no trivial or stupid
questions, but some of the answers are...well, less than patient, or less
informed than they were meant to be?
