I have played Morgan mouthpieces for about four years, moving
between the RM10 and the RM06. Only recently have I made a move
away from them into more "traditional" equipment. I feel that Morgan mouth-
pieces are unique and excellent. In flexibility ("feel") they are in a
category
alone: even, easy to control, infinite shades of ppp to fff with easy artic-
ulation, allowing for more expression, more "input" into
the music. My only complaint (recently acquired) is "tone." The sound is
woody but sometimes too "open" for me. At the present moment, I am experi--
menting with new set-up(s). For my B&H 1010 I play two mouthpieces made
from molds of old mouthpieces by Daniel Bangham. On my Buffet I use
several different mouthpieces. ---Bill Fogle.
