Thanks to all for the help. I just wanted to reply though to what someone
said about that I should have looked it up in Oxford's music dictionary.
Well, I don't know who the publisher was but I did look it up and it said
stentando meant labouriously slowing down while slentando just meant
slowing down, like the term rallentando as you put it. Since both my
teacher that I am taking lessons with this summer and I thought there
was a big enough difference in the two terms, I thought that this forum
was a good place to ask. I am sorry though if it was considered too
trivial.
