Dow Corning silicone high vacuum grease works well as cork grease.
I have found that compared to regular cork grease it will allow easy
release of a clarinet joint with a tight or new cork. This is most
noticeable when the clarinet has been left assembled for a few hours.
The product is available from most chemical supply houses. One source
is COLE PARMER (800) 323-4340
