Dan,
I highly recommend the Selmer 85/105. I was in your shoes
recently and found that my previous mouthpiece just wasn't very good. So
I was able to try our a few different ones from my (then) teacher (Eddie
Palanker, bass clarinetist of the Baltimore Symphony - great player and
teacher). This one was a sure-fire winner. I showed it to a colleague who
immediately bought one and is very happy with it also. And my
student bought one of the three I tried (2 were almost identical and
excellent).
