Just a weird thought about putting little rubber patches on mouthpieces--I
don't use one and I have noticed that if I have a cold, the vibrations coming
up from the mouthpiece through my teeth are very comforting to the sinuses.
(Keep a few kleenexes handy!) Chicken soup and clarinet for cold relief
forever!

Also I tried double lipping once but my lip got stuck in the gap between my
upper two front teeth, swelled up and blistered & bled like a stuck pig. I
should have used a lip-saver but I didn't think of it at the time. I am
