I studied with Sidney Forrest in Baltimore, and he turned me on to
those black and pink rubber gloves back in 1979. He always said that
they were hard to find, but recently, I went on a search of my own,
and I was successful. After going to about five wharehouse-style
hardware stores, I found them in a little neighborhood store in a part
of Los Angeles called Hancock Park. So, I'm sure if you look around in
your own worlds, you too may still be able to find those black and
pink rubber gloves. And yes, they do make the BEST mouthpiece patches
ever.
