Bill,
I have had that Leister Reger collection for a couple of years and find
it quite wonderful (I think I have most though not all of Leister's many
chamber
music recordings, all of which are excellent. The Reger quintet is
abeautiful piece but hard to get most string players interested in since
it requires work and familiarity to play, plus an affinity for Reger
that many seem not to have. There is an excellent Reger recording by
Eduard Brunner, who plays on Buffet clarinets, as well as a recent onf
by Mitchell Lurie.
